The state of honor this week is Minnesota. Land of 10,000 lakes, Minnesota is the state many famous people have called home - F.Scott Fitzgerald(writer), Bob Dylan(writer/musician), John Madden (sportscaster), Senator McCarthy, Charles H. and William J. Mayo (leading figures in the development of the Mayo Clinic). The state fruit is the Honeycrisp Apple and this cupcake is made with this tasty fruit.
