As part of our candy series is this Tootsie Roll cupcake. A chocolate cupcake is filled with a tootsie roll ganache center and topped with tootsie roll buttercream. A softer version of the famous candy but with all of the tootsie roll flavor! The tootsie roll was created by Leo Hirshfield of New York City in 1896. The candy was named after his 5 year old daughter ,Clara, affectionately nicknamed "Tootsie." A cupcake a day brings sweet bliss your way.
