North Dakota Sour Cream Raisin

The state of honor this week is North Dakota.  The 39th state admitted to the Union on November 2, 1889 was admitted the same day as South Dakota.  47.2% of the population is of German descent and North Dakota is considered part of the Great Plains states.  A popular dessert is the Sour Cream Raisin pie which this cupcake is an interpretation.  A sour cream cake is filled with a sour cream, raisin and white chocolate ganache and topped with vanilla buttercream adorned with more raisins.  A cupcake a day brings sweet bliss your way.
